“Mr & Mrs, be nice to each other”. That was the start of the theme tune that used to blast out every Sunday afternoon to herald the beginning of a show which was very popular back in the early Eighties. Who can remember Derek Batey asking questions of couples to see how well they knew each other? We may not have Derek Batey but this Saturday night, 24th September at 10.00pm in the Club, but we will have the gentile Mr Kevin Sweeney interrogating the couples who will take part in the show. The couples who have put themselves up for the inquisition are Decky Fitz & Amy Brannigan, Peter & Geraldine McKibben, and Gerard Keown & Saoirse Steele. Decky has been reading up on Maybelline products, meanwhile Amy has been learning to read the electricity meter. Peter has been flat out studying the Toner Family Tree whereas Geraldine has been simulating dropping a pallet off the side of a lorry with the forklift. And Gerard and Saoirse will just be hilarious. This promises to be a great night’s craic and will include the second 500Club Draw and a bit of karaoke/disco. Everyone welcome so please come along and join in the fun. Admission Free #UTT.
